According to reports at The Hollywood Reporter, David S. Goyer has dropped out of directing “Masters Of The Universe”. Goyer has reportedly been in talks with Sony Pictures for the past few months to helm the movie but never officially signed on, which looks like it is completely off the table now. However, he is still staying attached to write and executive produce the project, the reason being touted for his departure is his commitments to the upcoming SyFy show “Krypton” and a miniseries adapting Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” trilogy.
