Essential 4/20 Viewing!

It’s that time of year again, stoners unite and celebrate the beloved “4/20” by blazing reefers, sparking blunts, toking up, hitting the bong or whatever the phrasing is you want to use. Who needs a history on “4/20”, we all just want to get high and enjoy ourselves. Whether you partake in “4/20” yourself it doesn’t really matter, let’s all just celebrate the wonderful stoner films, and to all, you stoners out there don’t forget to stock up on some munchies if you’re planning a marathon of any of these classics. Here are our top 10 picks to watch tonight.

Pineapple Express

Director: David Gordon Green

Starring: Seth Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride, Kevin Corrigan, Craig Robinson.

Plot: A process server and his marijuana dealer wind up on the run from hitmen and a corrupt police officer after he witnesses his dealer’s boss murder a competitor while trying to serve papers on him.

The Big Lebowski

Director: Joel & Ethan Cohen

Starring: Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Julianne Moore, Steve Buscemi.

Plot: Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski, mistaken for a millionaire of the same name, seeks restitution for his ruined rug and enlists his bowling buddies to help get it.

Plot: A Korean-American office worker and his Indian-American stoner friend embark on a quest to satisfy their desire for White Castle burgers.

Plot: John Bennett, a man whose childhood wish of bringing his teddy bear to life came true, now must decide between keeping the relationship with the bear or his girlfriend, Lori.

Wet Hot American Summer

Starring: Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Price, Michael Showalter, Michael Ian Black, Amy Poehler.

Plot: Set on the last day of camp, in the hot summer of 1981, a group of counselors try to complete their unfinished business before the day ends.

What you may not know is that I also own a bottle of dick cream, I fondle my sweaters, and I often like to smear mud on my ass. Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back

Plot: The comic “Bluntman and Chronic” is based on real-life stoners Jay and Silent Bob, so when they get no profit from a big-screen adaptation, they set out to wreck the movie.

Plot: Two guys by the name of Silas and Jamal decided to one day smoke something magical, which eventually helps them to ace their college entrance exam.

Grandma’s Boy

Plot: A thirty-five-year-old video game tester has to move in with his grandma and her two old lady roommates.

Starring: Ice Cube, Chris Tucker, Nia Long, Tommy “Tiny” Lister, Regina King, DJ Pooh.

Plot: Two homies, Smokey and Craig, smoke a dope dealer’s weed and try to figure a way to get the $200 they owe to the dealer by 10 p.m. that same night.
