Psychological Horror Short, “Burn” to hit festivals this year!

Hitting festivals this year is the highly anticipated Psychological Horror short “Burn”, the short is a collaboration between The Slaughtered Bird and Dragon Egg Media.
Burn Poster 02Directed by Judson Vaughan (creator of Pedro and the multi award-winning Soul Breaker) and written by Chris Barnes (editor of popular UK horror review site The Slaughtered Bird), Burn is both patient and unrelenting in its tension building, stunningly captured by Joaquim Barreto’s cinematography, and brings classic psychological horror to the forefront of independent British cinema once again.

Burn was created on a tight budget, funded completely independently by Chris and Judson.

“After several local disappearances prompt a nationwide manhunt, Peter and Louise are two (of many) people gripped by media-induced fear. When their son, Charlie, is born, the pair must find a way of raising him amid continuing public hysteria and incomprehensible personal tragedy.”

To keep up with the film, keep an eye on their Twitter @BurnShortFilm or their IMDB page.

“…what it has in abundance is originality, and that’s exactly what modern horror fans are looking for.” – Intertainment Magazine

“There’s a strong creative idea in this work, it’ll certainly make any parent uncomfortable.” – Bleeding Critic
